Watch link

I just got my new casio watch yesterday, a casio Gshock (thanks to theNEOone, for showing it to me.) the problem is that the metal strap is too large for me. Anyone know any easy way with a tutorial or picture that I could take 1 or two link off without sending it back to casio?

P.S. OOps sorry was in a hurry. Any suggestions though.

I'm not sure about your particular watch, but I can speak to stainless steel bands in general...First, many of the links on a stainless band cannot be altered. There are only a few that are able to be removed for sizing. They are usually towards the clasp of the band. Locate these. You'll notice they will have a hole on each side - one side containing a minute screw head. All you will need is a steady hand and a flat-head screwdriver of appropriate size (ie. found in an eyeglass screwdriver kit). If you don't have the appropriate tools, take the watch to any jeweler. Most will happily resize the watch for free. Hope this helps.

I usually jsut go to the local mall and find a Boston Store and go to the watch counter and tell them you got it as a gift from there and just need a lnk taken out. Usually they do it for free.
