I talk faster than I type. I can also convey my message easier too. But that's just me.

I read faster than you talk, which was my point.

I am laughing so hard at the people in here railing about Taiwan for being communist....Taiwan has never been communist in its entire 60 year existence.

Seriously people, read up on shit every once in a while.

I was calling PixelSquish a dumb commie, not anyone in the video.

Well, you're too dumb to understand that money was wasted and I was ginving an example of what it could have bought. Perhaps even feed or help the poor in Taiwan.

Does that help your meager mind?

This is a disgusting video, so wasteful. Doesn't the Taiwanese government realize that the hundreds of thousands of dollars and all the man-hours spent into making this symbol of consumer excess could have been used to feed the poor? If only they were more utilitarian. Just imagine, they could make a charity out of selling quickly-depreciating luxury goods to purchase food with. Now children are going to starve to death.

...not sure if serious. I loled, though.

Pretty sure Taiwan thinks they're the "real China". :p I actually didn't know much about Taiwan until Blizzard had "Chinese Taipei" as a competitor in their Overwatch World Cup. I knew that Taipei was in Taiwan, but I didn't get the name until I looked up the history.

So what? It's JUST a car...(a very nice, expensive car, but a car none-the-less.)

COULD the Taiwanese government done something different with it than destroy it? Sure...but doing it this way made the point in a way that's hard to ignore.

And yeah...the guy running the machine should be fired. Idiot probably can't wipe his own ass either.

Which makes no more sense, seeing as he was calling China, a Communist governed country, stupid.

Am I missing sarcasm or something? Are you pantomiming John Connor?

The joke I was trying to make in the first post is that only an evil commie wouldn't recognize Taiwan's sovereignty from China, hence PixelSquish being one as well.

Is it illegal to import this kind of car to Taiwan and owner used a fake license plate and try fooling the authorities? What message were they trying to convey? o_O:eek:

Ok, I figured there was something I wasn't getting.

It is illegal unless you probably pony up or know the right people for some registration exemption. It'd be like importing a car built for another market most places, where it has to get a special exemption because it doesn't meet the regulations imposed on cars certified for that location (safety, emissions, being left/right hand drive, etc).

They're most likely going after it because the person probably did it to try and skirt tax liability.
