I am skeptical as well. But I watched a special by 48 hours or some news show that had 3 or 4 of these "psychics" ansd had the same person visit them and without providing information about thier loved ones, the psychics were able to come up with some good hits (things that no one would know except the person being read)

but that could fall intop the "even a bling squirrel finds an acorn once in a while" category
 
Cold reading, warm reading, having staffers interview guests before meeting them, just plain luck. Anytime one of these jokers was put in a controlled environment and tested, they failed. Then they blame the investigators for giving off "bad vibes."
