Wasting time on a MUD. Wisney World II

I used to play this mud back in highschool and some during college. It kinda died, and not many people play anymore so its a fun place to visit.

Does anyone else visit muds every now and again, and if so what are their addy's?


If anyone wants to mess around on this mud I can help them out a bit.

I have several that I used to play on a regular basis. I love them. I particularly like the Star Wars muds.

Honestly the leveling got boring so I would make a bot. But the fun part was PK multiplayer.

Eh, I guess thats forgiveable then . I played it like 7 or 8 years ago. It's an all text game, description of each room, etc.

I used to play a ton in college, in fact, I wasted most of my college life away playing these things (and for a few years after college too). Eventually players left and barely any new players joined and most of them shut down. With fewer people they became less fun so I ended up quitting too. The bad part is they totally ruined all the current MMORPGs for me. I can't play any of them without thinking how inferior they are to pretty much any MUD other than the graphics.

I used to play STYX mud, like 8 years ago. It was great fun but a waste of life. I just logged in, and to my surprise it was full of people! And there's a guy there who I used to play with years ago. Crazy. Check it out here: http://www.daimi.au.dk/~clemen/styx/
I also played Genocide a little, a purely PK mud. Fun and addicting stuff. Muds are why I'm such a fast typer.
