#$!@ Wasps

I got stung like 15 times when I hit a tree in the woods that had a wasp nest.

They are so fast and can sting repeatedly! NICE!

Life was good that day! 😕

AIIIIIEEEEE!!!1 bees and wasps have been my biggest phobia since i was little. dumb i know, but it sucks /runs

One hit me while I was mowing the lawn. Stung me right on the back of the arm, just below the elbow. I looked down, pulled the bee off (it was still trying to wiggle the stinger out and fly away) and killed it. While I was walking to the house, I felt a burning sensation start from the sting and slowly "drip" down my arm. When I looked, there was a swolen trail as if the poison had dripped down my arm, just under the skin, and had left a little swolen trail. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen, but since my mother is deathly alergic to bee stings, I freaked the fvck out and ran like a pussy, yelling for someone to get ice and a knife. :Q 🙁

When I was little, my dad was mowing the lawn and got stung by a bunch of yellowjackets all along his back.

I got stung in the face by a wasp a while back. :|

Yeah. Damn White Anglo-Saxon Protestants. 😉

"...at least I can cook up some civility and culture at the table."

"Joanie, did you know your mother is a whore?"

Damn, wish I remember the rest of that.

Anyway, fire is your friend. Wasps hate fire. Of course, so does the part of your house they're stuck to....

This is only my second time to be stung. I was stung in the knee twice by a wasp that had crawled up my blue jeans.

Ugh...I hate wasps. I got attacked by a swarm of them once when I walked by a nest under a bush behind my parents house. Ran inside with a couple of them still on me and squished them but not before getting stung just under my right eye. ::shudder::

Fortunately, wasps also hate Raid wasp spray..

"Caution: Do not stand underneath wasp nest while spraying."

We would get wasps in our basement when I was a kid. We all kept our coats just inside the door to the basement.

When I was about 5 and we were going somewhere and were late. My dad was trying to stuff me in to my coat and I kept resisting. He thought I was just being a little sh!t and was getting all pissed at me. Man did he feel bad when he found out that there was a wasp in my coat arm and it was stinging me repeatedly. 🙁

Also, make sure you do it after dark when the wasps are least active. They should all be back in the nest by that time, so you can hopefully get rid of the whole crew at once and they hopefully won't attack. My parents did this with the aforementioned nest of wasps that went after me.

Why didn't you say anything? I sure would have if I had been stung repeatedly.

I don't really remember it, but I'm sure I was yelling and screaming and crying. He just thought I was being a PITA.

happened to me too! i was about 4 or 5, it was raining and I had a rain coat on, it somehow got under my hood and stung me a coupla times on my head. I keep wanting to push off the hood, but my mother, who was talking to a friend on the street, keeps pushing it back on my head because it was raining. well, it was not a good day in my life.

You can make a thick paste of baking soda and water and spread it on the sting to help relieve the pain.

What I hate about wasps is that they FOLLOW you for quite some time.

It's not like the European bee that has a more defensive posture.

Wasps and Africanized bees have ATTITUDE and they will get you, b/c they p!ss off easily like a New Yorker on a good day!
