Wasn't there a site where you can download old versions of software?

I want to download Version 7.0 of Adobe Reader not 7.0.8, just 7.0. Can't find it on Adobe's site, or Google. Anybody know? Someone posted a link months ago to a site where you can download old versions of applications.

OP:

I initially posted the path to 7.0.8.. ok big deal.. I skimmed over your post and really only noticed the "7" part..

So, I took the time out of my schedule to post it..

I can't help it if you are too fvcking lazy to know how to browse the FTP directly, and see version 7.0 staring at you in the face..

You can at least thank the people that take time out to locate stuff for you..

On the other hand.. if you want it spoon fed to ya.. then good luck on that $hit

I use acrobat reader 5.0 and it's superfast! I don't know what features they've added since then but it works fine with FF and opens newer pdf files with no problems.

Blow me D!ckhead.

If you actually read the first post in my thread you would have known exactly what I was looking for. Take your childish flames somewhere else as I don't have time for it.

Thanks for everyone besides d!ckhead for helping me out. I needed 7.0.0 to test out a bug I found while trying to open links in a PDF document.

You know, if somebody else hadn't worked from jlbenedict's link, you might not have an answer right now.

In short: you're an ingrate.

why am I an ingrate? maybe you didn't read the part where I said I was behind a firewall at work. I cannot browse the FTP site to get to the correct directory that I wanted because, guess what, I am firewalled at work.

shall I go into details about the ticket that I had to enter with our Network Security group to open this specific path and the ports on the firewall too?

really children, the op was pretty clear in what he wanted, and he said so.. he didn't attack the guy who posted 7.0.8 but jibenedict decided to attack the OP for being "too fvcking lazy" and the OP responded in kind.

jib: learn from your mistakes.
1. you didn't read thoroughly (big mistake on ATOT)
2. you pretty much set yourself up for this response by taking out time from your precious schedule to help the guy. maybe you shouldn't help anyone anymore, since it seems your time is too valuable to you.
3. you took offense when he said he didn't want 7.0.8 YET NEVER POINTED A FINGER AT YOU for giving him 7.0. grow some thicker skin.

linux23 made the mistake of responding to him.

jib: just a comment - he said he was firewalled at work so he couldn't browse ftp anyway!

howard: is he really an ingrate? i bet there are hundreds of other people who could have easily helped him...

you all screwed up, now move on.
