I think this episode was pretty good (compared to the rest of this season). They are still missing something

How did he die in the first place?

That always puzzled me since that 300th episode dealie where they had a trivia question of which two characters died and they said it was Bleed'in Gums and Dr. Marvin Monroe.

Dr. Marvin Monroe passed away quietly sometime during season 6. His death was marked only by the appearance of the Marvin Monroe Memorial Hospital in "Who Shot Mr. Burns?, Part 1."
