Washington, DC Bar Hopping

Can anyone recommend a good grouping of bars in DC go to hopping at? I've heard there are some good ones at Adams Morgan. Also, bars near metro stops are preferrable.

Adams Morgan is a fun place to hang out. Lot of 20s-late20's hang out and have a good time. Try the Blue Room =D Supposed to be a fairly hot show on at Nations(club) tonight if you're into that sort of thing too.

The waterfront at Sequoia's in georgetown is also a fairly social spot. Great view etc. etc.

Now Nation I have been to...pretty cool. Thanks for the recommendations...anyone else want to chime in?

adam's morgan has a bunch of fun clubs. madams organ is probably the most well known bar there

there's a bunch of pretty fun bars by dupont circle...but there's also a large gay population. mad hatter and sign of the whale are pretty cool

georgetown has a few cool waterfront places, but they're pretty expensive

The Brick Skeller has over 500 kinds of beers..also in the Dupont Circle area.
