What water temp setting do you normally use for whites? colors?
I always put the temp on my washer to warm/cold but I noticed my clothes were shrinking a little. I touched the water and it was more like hot/warm instead of warm/cold.

I'm just going to wash all my clothes (t-shirts, jeans etc.) using the cold setting even though I am supposed to wash them in warm water.

My wife had me buy one of those expense front-loading auto-temp washers.

It adjusts it's temp to always be the same.

Cost me waaaay too much $$$ to buy though. :(

Hot/Cold means wash/rinse cycles. It washes with hot, and rinses with cold.

Warm/cold means just that.. both hot/cold(warm), and then cold to rinse.

I always use Warm/Cold nomatter what I'm washin. Warm water cleans better.

Pure whites like socks and undershirts, get hot or possibly warm.
Light colored clothing made of cotton, like white/gray T-shirts and towels get warm water or possibly cold.
Dark clothing, polyester, jeans, button shirts, etc get the cold treatment only.

edit: Seems I didn't even answer your question. Thanks for filling in Eli.
