Washers - Top loaders vs front loaders

Compare the two...which is better.
My friend has a Fisher & Paykel top loader.
I'm starting to hate them and I love using the front loaders like the ones found in the laundromat.
I just think because of the gravity, front loaders would move your clothes more freely compare to a top loader where your clothes wouldnt be moving.

AFAIK, front ones are much easier on your clothes. The top ones really wear them out. I guess the front ones use less water too, not sure though.

the front ones are always better but they are more expensive. i also think the front-loading ones don't harm the clothes as much.

Isn't Fisher and Paykel expensive?

So are the front loaders

I didn't mean it in that way...was just asking...ya know... in general.

yea i know ... lol ... just being smart.

yea the F&P are $600 and the front loaders are a little more. My friend swears by hers, but
I dont know how they can actually clean your clothes better if all it does is spin round and round and your clothes dont have room to move. I mind as well wash it by hand and beat it against a rock like the old days.
