Like a knucklehead I left my passport in my short's pocket it went through the washer and dryer. It is all krinkled up but all the text is legible. Should I get it replaced quickley? I am goin to Europe in mid August. Anyone else ever do this? Will I get turned back at the airport if I don't replace it? How can I find out? thanks

Hmmm, a laundered passport? Terrerist!

You'd better check with the passport office to be sure if it's acceptable or not. I seriously doubt you can get a replacement before mid-August. IIRC, even expedited passports are running 6 weeks+.

passport plus can get me a replacement in 2 days. they are right on 49th street. Looks like that is what I am going to have to do.
