Was Wondering If These Headphones were good?

Wondering if the Sony MDR-NC6 Noise Canceling Headphones are any good? Text

Or if the Sennheiser HD-497 Over-Ear Headphones (Silver) were better? Any thoughts/comments?

Personally, I like Sennheisers. A lot. But when I tried a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M40fs's.... yeah. These things are $70 ('bout the same for good-quality Sennheisers too) and they're the kind of headphones you see in recording studios. No, not garage-band. Think people who'll make more money in a day than you probably will in a decade. I got mine off of Parts Express, fyi.
