with my kids this morning.

The boys were being detectives. After running through 40's film noir detectives, Starsky & Hutch and Miami Vice, somebody asks them if they are a little young to know all these detective shows:

Phineaus responds, "Yes. Yes we...."

Puts on sunglasses.

"Are!"

"Yeeaaahhhh"

I love this show :D

Yeah, watch it with the niece and nephew and am amazed at all the humor targeted for adults that the kids would never get.

It's pretty awesome. Honestly, it's nice to see a show that doesn't treat kids like they're retarded.

I know. I find myself laughing at something and then having to explain it to my kids. "Thats from a fight in arated R movie you aren't allowed to see"

I do lie the show though, because it portrays being intelligent and creative in a positive light.

The shows creators have worked on Family Guy, The Simpsons, King of the Hill and Rocko's Modern Life among others. They've made a great show that appeals to all ages and has a good message (go out and do something).

Currently one of the few Disney shows I will actively watch with my kids. The first two seasons just recently got added to Netflix Watch Instantly.

More than that, they also show a family where two step brothers are best friends and the step parents make no distinction between which kids are theirs and which are from their spouse's previous relationship.

It's a good thing to show kids, especially with how many kids are growing up in families with step parents and step siblings now.
