Was watching GT racing and heard a term I'm not familiar with...

something to do with the exhaust headers i'd imagine....no idea what "closed" means though...interesting
 
That's what I thought... but they were talking about how someone else designs the headers, and then Borla makes them. I thought they were talking about the headers only, not the full exhaust system.

It also means that the headers must also be optimized to work with a full exhaust system. Most drag cars don't use mufflers so their headers are designed to be run open.
