Was this a good deal?

I just scored an ATI X850XT AGP 256MB videocard from CompUSA for $349.99 plus tax. Was that a good pickup?

Also, is this the fastest ATI card they make for the AGP slot and what card does it compare to on the Nvidia side?

It's comparable to the 6800GT/6800U.
It's okay but I would've picked up the x800XL for ~220$.

thats a pretty good deal. maybe if some one was having a big sale or a MIR i could have been beat.

It is OK for a standard retail deal. I scored one of those refurbished x800 xt pe ( same performance as the x850 xt ) cards for $233.16 shipped from the ATI Store. The card looked brand new and came with a three year warranty. This card performs better ( about 15% ) than the 6800GT and about equal to the 6800 Ultra. My 3D Mark 03 scores for these cards are: 6800GT = 10692 w/ 71.20 drivers and x800 xt pe = 12381 w/ 5.6 drivers.
