I have a T series, but I really wanted something light this time - that's why I got this package that includes the ultrabase dockingstation and CDRW/DVD combo. This way, I can tote this thing around, but still be able to have the desktop feel with a regular keyboard and monitor via the dockingstation.
RossMan, I haven't decided on a PDA, only because I'll be getting a Blackberry from the firm (the new kind that has a phone built-in!)- I'm not familiar with the features of the Blackberry, and am wondering whether that will in fact be enough to serve as a PDA. My biggest needs for the PDA are (1) keepingg address and contact, and (2) Appointment reminders. I am ALWAYS forgetting things, and need to be reminded and keep a schedule of appointments. If this device can do that, then I'm set - a phone, PDA, and e-mail device in one!
And if that is indeed the case, then the remaining $250 or so on my tech allowance will go towards buying a low-budget Laser Printer.
Do you know anything about the Blackberry?
