I think I just managed to snag a G400 from U-Bid for $189.00. Is that a good deal? Not sure what they are going for these days, but I heard it's a good one.

is this with or without shipping? if it is, then damn good price, but ubid charges sky high shipping rates. and btw, the g400 is a damn good monitor.

Yup, that was a steal. I paid over $400 for mine about a year ago. Very nice monitor, I couldn't use anything less now.

Unfortunately ground shipping brings it up to 270 total :(

Oh yeah here are the specs:

Full Description:

The Multiscan G400 19" (18.0" viewable) display is ideal for the demanding corporate professional who requires extra screen space and exceptional image performance, without sacrificing value or reliability. The CPD-G400 is perfect for everything from spreadsheets to finely detailed graphic presentations.

The virtually flat, high-resolution FD Trinitron® CRT?with a variable 0.24 - 0.25mm aperture grille pitch?delivers superior image clarity and truer, brighter colors. And, with Sony?s HiDensity? :)sorrie man u might think that i am bullshitting but it really depends on ur luck. One of my friend got a rfurbished SONY monitor from UBID for good deal and it's been acting abnormal these days, but his computer(also refurb. from ubid) is doing wut it should be doing for almost a year. So try it and do get prepared in case anyhting happens, they have pretty good return policy though.

Probably refurb for that price. Mine was $450 (with a deal) less than a year ago. I love the monitor though.
