Was there ever a fix for that user rating bug?

Apparently I can't search for "user" or "rating," so I can't find the threads about it. I've had people actually PMing me because of my user rating...any way to fix that sumbitch?

I had an 8. something.
The off topic bunch sent me here after I inquired about it.

Well, actually 1 or 2 of them did, the rest admonished me in jest I believe.

I suspect that that was not a bug. A person, with access to the DB, could modify the fields. I did notice that those that did have negative numbers did appear in this forum as topics of threads with a high frequency.
