Was there a 5th plane?

I have heard a few reports about a 5th plane that was "unaccounted for". Some news agency (CNN, I think) made a reference that it, too, had crashed but there were no details. I did hear an airline spokesman say that there was a 5th plane that they were trying to track.
So my question is... was there indeed a 5th plane that crashed? If so, where? I hate to speculate in a consipiritorial fashion, but could it have been shot down? It may explain the silence in the news surrounding this?
Just a late night thought.

russian news media is reporting that 11 planes were Hijacked:

i dont have the link, but tihs was sent to me:

The Russians story goes: 11 planes hijacked 8 went down.
The first two hit the WTC towers.

The third got the west wing of the Pentagon

The fourth in Pennsylvania.

The fifth in Pittsburgh.

The sixth was simply shot down by our US Air Defenses.

The seventh crashed in to Washington's Dulles Airport.

The eighth plane was forced down in the area of Camp David.

cant be right, but thats what htey are saying. I think they may have a few facts mixed up. If somthing crashed at dulles, we would surely have seen it allready on TV.

The word on Plane #4 is that it was headed for the U.S. Capitol Building or the White House. Apparently some passengers on board realized what was going on, and knew they would die, and tried to crash the plane early, and they succeeded.

There's no word on any more planes beyond those four. Whatever Russia is reporting is just wrong (or else all media outlets in the entire U.S. and entire world outside of Russia are wrong).

I believe there are only 4. Initial stories said as many as 11, but it seems now that there are four.

there was speculation of others before they accounted for all planes in the air, but the tally of HijackedPlanes was 4. There were international flights as well, but they've all been accounted for.
