Was the sound at the Superbowl messed up?

Or did the acts just suck really badly?

It sounded like people were fading in and out during the Stevie Wonder show.

What? Get a new TV.

During the post game show the audio was off. The audio was coming in earlier than the video, so you heard them speak before they opened their mouths. Crazy sh1t.

occasonally the volume levels going from al michaels/madden to say the mic'd up bettis would jump. like when they run there stupid on screen package.

it was pretty consistent for the game.

Well...the halftime show sucked....and the rolling stones sound like utter crap. It's amazing what a recording studio can do for horrible singers.

Some commercials were much quieter than the rest. I remember Ford Mustang was barely audible, and some other one. Must be local blocks inserted vs those televised nationally or smth like that.

I was watching the damn game almost on zero volume... fvkcers were blocking out the English commentary and dubbing in Korean. Asshats were talking even thru the halftime show.... althought that last bit wasn't such a bad thing..

I noticed this as well. Network issue or maybe Dish network related.

I have Dish TV here ...

Yeah. The sound for all the pregame/halftime shows is ALWAYS an issue at the Superbowl.

It probably has something to do with the demands of erecting a stage and putting on a small concert in... what is it... 20 or 30 minutes?

It probably sounds just fine if you are there, but it seems like every halftime show I've ever watched always has weak audio.
