Here's the problem I have with the link, and correct me if I'm wrong. The CPU explodes and I can see the floor. According to them the explosion was strong enough to put a hole through the table. Yet 90% of the chip can be reassembled

-The hole itself looked like a cut out.
-The way he talks sounds rehersed.
-The sound of the explosion sounds like the firecrackers I used to play with as a kid.

If I'm wrong I'm wrong, this just seems fake to me.

yes, it's a fake. An old fake.

Good catch though, most people believe it's real when they first see it.

one of my jobs was building electronics test bays for aircraft carriers. this involved uninterruptible power supplies.

one day someone messed up, and we had a "little explosion"

18 car battery size batteries, all shorting at once.

the box it shorted in was a rack mount box about 15 inches high.

the inside had an area about the size of a soccer ball, completely vaporized.

aluminum, stainless, circuit board, everything.

maybe not completely vaporized. it didn't smell too good so i didn't spend too much time looking.

probably just melted.

nice when work isn't boring.
