okay, what's going on here? i was just reading through a long thread and it looks like some of red's comments were zapped, as it appears other users were replying to him.

i was going through some other posts and saw this thread...and checked his profile to see if he was logged in...

SQL Server is a relational database. If his user record was deleted, it could have been set to cascade and delete any post he made. And if he started a thread, it would have deleted the thread which could cause it to cascade and delete anybody's post that was in one his threads. :(

This is uncool.

bober, depends on the db. I dont think MSsql got that feature until ms sql 2000.
In my books red needs a vacation anyway.

Cascading deletes? That's an integral feature to any relational database I've ever used. I highly doubt it only got added recently.
