I don't have the quick reply box when I use IE6.

This always worked for me under IE6. Copy the text below to a file (whatever.reg) and save it then run it.

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings]
"MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"=dword:00000019
"MaxConnectionsPerServer"=dword:00000019

Click the little red u-turn symbol in the upper right corner of each thread to turn it on. Click dock to make it work like in Firefox.

RE: View Source - Click the 'Page' button/pulldown on the top right and you'll find 'View Source' in there.

RE: Java - Looks okay here. I went to java.com and went through the 'verify installation' tool. Here's what I got...

We detected your Java environment as follows;
Description Your Environment
Java Runtime Vendor: Sun Microsystems Inc.
Java Runtime Version 1.5.0_06
CONGRATULATIONS, you have the Latest version of Java!

That's odd... I just did it to Google and it worked. By worked I mean opened a notepad window. I couldn't tell you if it's accurate or not but it does appear to function.

What I'd like to know is how to move those different tool/menu bars to a single line. Talk about a bunch of dead space!

EDIT: Here's my feedback to Microsoft on the layout:

Normally I use Firefox (latest version) to browse the web and IE6 if I have a site that doesn't display properly in Firefox. I just installed the IE7 beta2 browser and the first thing I tried to do is customize the layout. I do not like the default and found it was not possible to rearrange the toolbars to a more suitable location. Given the amount of wasted space with 3 toolbars this is an absolute must-have feature. Compared to Firefox (without the bookmarks toolbar), IE7 is a full 50% larger. Please allow the user to change the layout.

Yeah, it's there but it doesn't work...at least for me.

Java works fine. Quick reply in AT works fine.
