I still think she took her own life. Maybe it was done on accident, or on purpose. I don't think the Kennedy's were involbed, or were they?
Why suicide:
1) She tried to commit suicide 2-3x in the past.
2) She was known to abuse pills. Many stars back then abused pills. They took methamphetamine "speed pills" in the morning, and at night many stars took barbiturates "sleeping beauties" at night. Marilyn was no different.
3) She often was drinking alchoal when she was taking pills. Again, very common at that time. People just didn't know any better.
4) Back to the pill consumption. She would often forget how many she took, and would take more than she needed which is very common. And, very dangerous.
5) She was manic. Would go thru extreme highs and lows. She was getting older, and feared that her career was over. 36 for a sex symbol was very old at that time, and it WAS her whole identity.
6) Back to my first point. What she would do is she would attempt suicide, call a dear friend, and that friend would come to her rescue. She had the phone in her hand when she was found dead, and this time it didn't work.
Why the Kennedys:
1) Marilyn had a little red book that she kept notes in. She kept track of EVERYTHING supposedly. I believe it was never found.
2) The Kennedys wanted nothing but absolute power. If Marilyn was having an affair with both John and Robert both of their careers would be in jeaporady if it was leaked out.
3) The Kennedys also hung out with mob figures, and the mob was very powerful in the 1950/60s. Maybe the Kennedys summoned their mob buddies?
Those are just off the top of my head. I know that Marilyn was having an affair with her psychiatrist, and her maid was washing her sheets at an odd hour. Lots of theories. Some of the documentaries on Marilyn's life are very interesting. She is one of the most iconic figures of the 20th century.
