Was in "Game" this morning and noticed MoHAA: Breakthrough was out...

Got it, only managed to play for about five minutes or so but I've gotta say I'm impressed! Running through the frontline in a sandstorm and then jumping into a tank, great fun...oops, did I say too much

I've had an hour on it tonight and passed 2 or 3 levels. It's a bit easy even on the Hard level, but I guess its the same as the original MoHAA and Spearhead. I like it so far though. I had a quick game online too and although I only played on one map it was very well done. Very detailed. So far so good.

Mind you I've been waiting for a new game for ages and as this is the first one out of the few I want to get, that might have summut to do with the thumbs up sp far.

i didn't play the 1st expansion, but this one seems good.

the graphics are quite nice now, then again i don't know if its just because i used to run the original off a much slower system

still, detailed textures/highest curve detail settings look quite nice. its nice to have a fast paced ww2 fps to go with the slower paced 1942 wonder if it still uses the q3 engine or is it 1942 engine.

Well I can tell you it certainly uses Quake3's net code.. and not BF1942

Hey, im not trying to make a point about the source of my software.
If I get it legally or otherwise its not inflicting any harm upon you and neither is it affecting you. It is much less influencing anybody to do as well.

I was actually trying to say that i am aquiring Breakthrough when I havent even finished Spearhead.

EDIT: However, If I am informed that mentioning matters of such nature is a bannable offence, I wont be stupid enough to try it.

It was released on the 25th in most major retailers. It was on sale till the 28th for $19.99 or under. Also you could get it at Best Buy for $14.99 with the free $5 off deal. I picked it up Thursday for $14.99 + tax at Best Buy.

Edit: I think it's still on sale at Fry's till Tuesday for $18.88

I bought it too and now wish I could keep my money. Anyhow, I did not notice any great improvements graphics-wise since MOH AA, that is not to say that graphics were bad, they're not. For the life of me, I do not understand why the option of going prone has not been added yet. I've noticed in Breakthrough that ammo and health are not as easy to come buy as in previous versions. AI has not been updated as well, it's still as dumb as it was. Just my $.02
