One of the new big ones where they display all the product info on ipad2s. I was surrounded by blue shirted Apple guys.

So you were in a big store that was selling ipads, and the employees had blue shirts on.

Are you sure it wasn't a Best Buy?

That's a big store for a company with ten products.

Exactly what I thought and said above in one of my posts. Doesn't it just nail home now much it's not about the products any more and has become a cultural phenomenon?

"However in the IFC store, almost 30% of the workers are girls. Also, 80% of the employees are from Hong Kong, where 20% are from other countries."

I know where I need to go if I'm in Hong Kong! :D

Just think of it this way... Apple's products aren't just about the physical product as much as it is about everything else. Just look at the packaging, which it seems other companies are starting to copy. When I opened my TouchPad, my first thought was, "this packaging is a lot like my iPad's." If you looked at my iPad's box, you would probably say, "that could be a bit more efficient", and I'd agree, but it isn't really about that.

It's about the "grandeur" of it all.

Believe me, there are better places in Hong Kong... :sneaky:
