Was I the only one who didn't feel emotion while watching the Passion?

I simply didn't feel anything watching it, it was too easy to see the script for what it was, and to see Gibson's influence during the filming (some particular shots that were done in the same style as his other movies). The only parts that were truly emotional or insightful for me were when Jesus was shown sitting at the last supper with his disciples.
