I walk into the 5 story building where my class is. I walk into the elevator, behind this chap. I'm standing just next to the buttons and he shouts "oi, third floor" He gives me this nasty look so I pushed button three. Then I made a little joke about it the small quiet elevator "Anyone else? Fourth floor, fith floor?" And then he just glares at me for a minute.
Was I in the wrong for trying to make a joke out it or was this bloke acting like an arse?
Im in elevators all day, whether it's at work or at school, and I always offer to press the floor buttons for people. I say "where are you going" and I push the floor as he would've found out if he'd waited for the other people to enter the lift before demanding his floor.
