was Grand Ages Rome any good?

I am a fan of city-builders, and enjoyed the Caesar series (especially 2 and 4). I guess I didn't get Grand Ages Rome because I figured I already had Caesar 4 and didn't need someone else's clone of it, but now I am wondering if I should give it a chance. Anyone try it?

I liked the demo a lot, but have never gotten around to the real game.

I thought it was ok. Kind of too simplistic for me. You don't even build roads and it seemed really easy, though I never ended up playing it all the way through.

Hm, ok. Thanks for the thoughts. If there's a demo I'll give that a try and see what I think.
