A very nice friend has offered the above mentioned RAM to me in exchange for some car work done.
I was thinking about upgrading my computer to begin with, and this seems like the perfect reason to. From my current computer, I will definitely transfer over to the new one:
6800GT
Optical drives (DVD burner, CD burner)
My hard drives are older, so I will probably get a new one or two of those. I know they don't use the latest connector type. I think they're just ATA100s. Everything else is older, and will not be using in the new computer.
So for a gaming rig, what MB should I base this new RAM around? I appreciate your input! But please, if you do suggest something, please take a moment to explain why so I can understand it.
