Was George W. Bush "Involved"
in an Illegal Abortion??

On CNN's Crossfire on October 20, 2000, Larry Flynt exploded a bombshell: that he has evidence that George W. Bush was "involved in an abortion in Texas" in the early 1970's - when abortions were still illegal.

Here are the details, as reported by Bartcop:

In the winter of 1971 George W. Bush was dating a woman named Robin Lowman (now Robin Garner). Miss Lowman became pregnant by Smirk and he arranged for her to have an abortion - which in the great state of Texas in 1971 was very illegal! Not to mention that George W. is running as a pro-life candidate for the presidency.
The unnamed source of this story, was a friend of Robin Lowman's and the girlfriend of the man who arranged the abortion. His name is Robert Carl Chandler. Chandler is a Bush friend and supporter from way back and he made the arrangements for Miss Lowman's abortion at the Twelve Oaks Hospital in Houston, TX (now the Bayou City Medical Center). The source overheard the call by Mr. Chandler to arrange the abortion and the source visited Robin Lowman at the Twelve Oaks Hospital after the procedure.

The source meanwhile, is afraid of coming forward, saying that she was threatened by Chandler and another Bush friend and supporter named Jim Bath. Bath has longstanding intelligence connections, and played a role in the BCCI scandal. Robin Lowman (now Garner) is married to Jerry Lee Garner who is an FBI agent.

So, that's the story: an illegal back room abortion arranged by the Republican party Presidential candidate who is running on a pro-life ticket.

Wouldn't surprise me. At least he had the decency to arrange it in a proper hosptial. That will never be proved however.

It was released recently that the democrats have been dreaming up scurrilous falsehoods to use against Bush to drive away his conservative base.

Unlike John Kerry, Bush is a decent and moral man.

The abortion story is a big fat democrat lie, plain and simple.

Larry Flynt is not a reliable source anyway.

I wouldn't doubt that Dems are plotting to plant lies about GWB.. I am not a Dem or an Repub.. I hate most all politicians equally.

I remember bush's response to that interview with flynt.

he pretty much said the country doesnt want to know about that.

also as a side note the transcripts from that interview have been deleted off of CNN's website.

if you looked at the time it was aired it looks like CNN has a one hour of dead time.

typical liberal media.

The Heroin... was this during the war or after the war? And I had never heard of this..

Here is a good conspiracy? story for you

They arrived on the Bush family King Air from Texas, presumably piloted by George W., to pick up two kilos of cocaine which was delivered for the Bush's by Seal, after flying from the Intermountain Regional airport located at Mena, Arkansas. Reed was the unwitting co-pilot. At the time the sting was arranged, the "buyers" of the cocaine were unknown.

Hehe, who cares if its true or not. Keep yelling it to the high heavens and sooner or later I'm sure 2 people will crawl out of the woodwork to either slam Kerry or try to get famous.

Thats a good question. I dont know, but perhaps Bush really is a Bible beater and drove his kids towords deviant behavior because of his religious fanatacism? I've seen similar stuff happen, so I know its within the realm of possibility.

Oh well, just a thought.

That is not a good question. That is an attack against the mans family. It is the type of garbage that needs to stay out of this race. I don't like Bush, but I'd protect his family same as I would mine.

I heard that Kerry raped a number of women while in Vietnam and personally gave them abortions with his bayonet. I am still looking for a geocities site that can substantiate this. YOu think David Dicke knows anything about this?

So far if the lady doesn't want to come forward about this, if Larry Flynt doesn't really have any evidence, theres no existance of the transcript. It looks pretty much swept under the carpet.

It wasn't too long ago that Florida's Bush's daughter was caught involved in drugs,
then GWB stated that she needed help......
But for our kids.....Zero tollerance is his solution.......So he has made drug family matters a very relivant issue.
A heroin addict president that says "drug adicts should be hunted down and sent to jail", we don't need.
We arn't electing the heroin addict Rush Limba who made the statement while on Hick Heroin.
But that kind of hipocracy needs to be hunted down and exposed....
He can send his kids to jail for drug use, but he needs to leave our kids alone, or help them.
Harm is harm & help is help, & I don't think GWB knows that.....

Actually, in all seriousness. Sometimes no matter what a parent does a kid will make bad choices. I've seen families with multiple children who grow chemical engineers, psychologists doctors and the like and then have one kid that lives on unemployment and goes from one dead end job to another.

A parent can only do so much, then it's up to the kid.

I was involved in an abortion once, but I would NEVER be again. You live and you learn ya know.

I could see how Mr Bush could have been involved in one too and as he grew older He got wiser or perhaps just more aware of whats important in life....

I dunno, I once supported abortion, then i went to an ultrasound and I was like "hey, thats not a hot dog, its not a lump of hamburger! There's a baby in there!".

Now I try to stay out of the debates. I figure someone wants an abortion, throw em a coat hanger, I dont give a damn.

A friend of mine said that every president should have one legal murder they can commit. He suggested that Clinton should have murdered his sleazy (?) brother (IIRC), and Bush should murder his coke snorting niece.

That is about as believable as my cousins father in law's friend who personally arranged for John Kerry to visit a gay bathhouse in SanFrancisco after he returned from Vietnam so he could get reaquainted with the boys. Not very believable is it? Why isn't it believable? Because it isn't true. Same for Bush and the abortion thing. Not believable because number one it came from Larry Flynt(not quite a paragon of truth, morality, and virtue) Number two the alleged woman has made no such claim to anyone that this actually happened. Number three what are the odds that an illegal abortion would be allowed in a Hospital in a state in which such procedures are illegal and no one has ever said anything about it. It was characterized as a backroom abortion creating the old image of the dirty motel room and the rusty coat hanger yet he goes on to say it happened in a hospital. Sorry this is obviously a lie created in the imaginations of GW's enemies and intended to do nothing more than create doubt.

Are you saying that my parents were bad? I turned into an alcoholic.
I was for abortion. Along with alot of other Dem stances.
I then hit rock botom and had no where else to go.
I went up. I quit drinking and got a real job.
I started to see that the Reps had a better grasp on real life.
So I converted. I had a kid and came to real quick relize that a babie is a life form right from the start.

Are you going to say that people cant change?
See the light, so to speak.
People do make mistakes. I think that after 10 years or so the mistakes of the past should be forgiven.
That goes for both sides. A lot of you sound like my X. After 12 years she still thinks Im a drinking alcoholic.
Remove the blinders abd look at someone. then deside.
