yeah, someone explain the physics behind pulling a safe that probably weighs 25x more than both the "muscle cars" combined out of a concrete wall.
then dragging it for miles on public roads, slamming into buildings and other obstacles as if it were a rag doll.

i mean, c'mon... at least make it a little believable.

if you were expecting a realistic movie after the opening scene in this movie and after they heisted the cars off of the moving train, then i think you probably should only watch documentaries.

It's actually not a bad movie if you don't expect much out of Paul "This is what I call acting" Walker.

Fast Five was extremely entertaining. Sure, it's completely unbelievable, but that's not what this type of movie is about. The only movie I enjoyed more this year was Inception.

sadly, this is the most entertaining movie i watched all freaking year. as for the casting goes its all the characters from the older movies. the girls are hot, the explosions are... explosive, what else do you want in a brainless movie?

Compare this to crap that came out this year like bridesmaids, this deserves an oscar!

and come on how can u hate on lines like "We hungry!" and "I'll ride with you toretto"

The Rock had the best one liners
"you know I like my dessert first"
"give me the veggies"

I've only seen the first one. Do I need to see the other three in order to enjoy Fast Five?

nah not really. this one has characters from the rest of the series and they have some dialogue referring to the older movies...but nothing substantial.

There's a spoiler for the 4th? movie if you watch past the credits though.

Edit: actually not a spoiler since this is a sequal but you'll be like me and wonder what they're talking about and probably google it.

Some of the characters are repeats and the storyline kind of builds off of one of the other ones so I would say yes if you can.

Never seen this one, but I'm pretty certain Nicolas Cage wasn't in it so no, it's not the worst cast ever assembled.

I quite enjoyed it, though I knew full well what I'd be seeing: a shitty action movie. I actually think the Rock is quite good as an action-movie actor, though Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are definitely horrible actors. I highly recommend the Adam Carolla/Bill Simmons dissection of Fast Five at http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play?id=6443190 - it's more fun than the movie in my view.

the guy just called paul walker the keanu reeves of our generation...

not saying keanu is oscar caliber but he makes paul walker look like an extra in a 1st grade school play.
