Was Ed Kennedy SLEEPING during the state of the Union?

Did anyone else see this? They panned to a shot of him and he was sitting there motionless with his head down. I couldnt tell if his eyes were closed, but it looked like they were. Maybe he was passed out from another night of drinking heavily...

As much as I don't like the guy.....ill say that he was just writing notes on Bush's speech. Though I did think that was what he was doing for a moment.
