was disconnecting keyboard and screwed up..now no power

Hi,

Building a system...I went to disconnect the keyboard andthe computer just shut off. I am not sure if I hit the power cord, but it was loose after later inspection.

Now computer has no power...the light on keyboard will flash but no fan, no nothing..

I have an EPOX 8KHA+.....any solutions out there? I have already tried resetting the CMOS

If no solution, any idea what I need to replace or what I damaged?

Computer was working fine before this happened

reset cmos two more times and computer booted.......

Thouight i may have blown the power supply or motherboard.

Hint: ps/2 is not hot-pluggable. If you're unlucky, you can fry (part of ) the mainboard.

Perhaps you can "lie" and say it came out the box dead and get a replacement. 😀
