I refuse to acknowledge that show is still on. The Simpsons was a brilliant show and ended after a successful 8 season run.

All this talk about a season premier is just crazy talk.

Well, the Simpsons has been slowly dying for past few years, and now it has to compete with shows like Family Guy. The season premier was kinda just the same situation that has happened before- Marge even said so on the show itself :( Problem is, the Simpsons has gone through nearly every entertaining scenario possible. Like that South park episode says: "Simpsons did it".

I will not be surprised if this is the final season of the show.

I should start using that logic. I figured I stepped into an alternate universe somewhere around '97-98 where brilliant, clever, hilarious, heartfelt television turned into steaming piles of hobo sh!t.
