Warranty on Sony CD burner

Hi, I need help on getting the warranty card for a sony SCSI CDR. I bought a Sony Spressa external 4X SCSI CDR about 6 months ago and now it broke down. I called the Service Rep and they required a warranty card, but I lost it. Please can someone send me a warranty card for a Sony CD burner? Have you asked Sony if there is a local authorized service center in your area? I have one about 20 miles from where I live. When I have brought items in for repair, they only ask to see a copy of my invoice/receipt from when I purchased the item. If one is close, you could drop it off and Sony would ship it back to you within one week.
