Warranty for iPad 2

Do I buy the AppleCare warranty or the Best Buy warranty (since I got it at Best Buy)?

Best Buy warranty covers pretty much everything though.

if you trust best buy to honor it and give you your ipad back in a reasonable time. lots of stories of them sitting on repairs for months "waiting for parts"

SquareTrade!!! There's a sale on it now. $87 for 2 years accidental. Ah, $97 now, but still worth it.

Curious why you feel the need to get the warranty. iPad has 1 yr warranty through Apple and most credit cards give you another year free. In 2 years, your iPad will probably be worth $200 or less.

most electronics start to go bad after 3 years and that's only a gentle sloping curve on a chart. its either shortly after purchase or the chances increase slightly after 3 years

nice thing about ipads is the ridiculous resale value. for $150 or so just sell your old one and buy a new one every year

Well I bought the SquareTrade warranty because they cover unlimited accidental damage also. I've dropped my iPhone a ton of times already. I'll need it.
