Warranty claim on Oakleys?

When I bought my Oakleys from Sunglasses hut, the receipt machine broke and the guy told me that I didnt need a receipt for warranty claims. So I just got the glasses and bag. Well my buddy bought the same type a week later but got a box with all this warranty stuff in it, for the same price. Now I have a chip in one of my lenses and I've heard from people that oakley has a really good warranty policy, so how would I go about the claim without the receipt? I've had them for less than a year. They are Twenties, with orange(fire) iridium lens

Oakley does have great service...they'll probably fix them for you w/o a receipt

I believe Oakley warranty does NOT cover the lens.. I could be wrong.

You're right. If you scratch or chip the lenses. Their stance is "Tough luck". But, you could try sending it to them anyway. Too bad they don't replace stolen glasses...I lost my pair of T-Wires...:(

hahaha... maybe i should start up a service here. I have Oakley down the street as well as Western Digital. Linksys, Dlink, etc etc etc. :) Yeah I'll swing by there on my way out tomorrow. But looks like they won't cover lens damage. :(

actually i think you can steam roll over your glasses as long as you pay 20 dollars and have reciept:p thats the small bonus for spending a ton on glasses:p

I used to have the Full Metal Jackets and the earpiece broke all the time. I'd send it in and they'd fix it for free. As far as the lenses go, tough luck. There's basically nothing you can do about the lenses. Sunglass Hut gave me envelopes to send my glasses back with prepaid postage too.
