Warranty and Thermal Probes

Starting slightly off-topic, in my other recent post i mentioned purchasing a Leadtek GF4 Ti4400 along with a HDD. I thought about getting a flavour of Hardcano to cool my new HDD and record CPU and GPU temps.

To do such a thing, would i invalidate any warranties? Is the expense of measuring temperatures the cost of losing the priviledge of returning goods?

My CPU runs coolish and I'd say the GPU is safe but i would like to know how it is affected by positions of inflow/exhaust fans to maxmise cooling.

I know you guys are only trying to help but I'd like my 'trial and error' system to find the best for my system.

Just Bumping.... surely someone has to know - Somebody has answered every one of my questions so far 🙂

okay let's get this outta the way mr. angy face emoticon.
Basically you're asking if you put a little thermal diode on a wire under the CPU and between the pins will it invalidate your warranty.
Of course not.
How would anyone know?
No.
