First, http://www.paypal-inc.com is not a registered domain. And when you click the link in the email, you will be directed to another site http://www.paypal-help.co-inc.com/ and the site was running outside USA.



Mods, I know this is not a hot deal but just wanna warn the others about this scam email since many of us have paypal accounts. If you still think it is not appropriate, just go ahead and lock it. I apologize.

yeah, i just recieved one of these emails and the funny thing is... i've never had a Paypal account.
so I just blasted an email back that said:

yeah right.... F*** You

In a perfect world I would agree. Unfortunately, as the saying goes, "there's a sucker born every minute." 99% wouldn't fall for it or at least would do some checking on the regular site. The remaining 1% would do just as instructed like mindless robots and that is why these A**holes keep doing this kind of crap. It only takes a few to make some $$.

I just had the same thing happen to my wife on her aol account. She doesnt even have a paypal account, I do.

What's the big deal about clicking a link? There's no harm in clicking a link. What IS stupid is putting in your password. Besides if you email is set to exclusive like mine is, you'll never have this prob.
