I noticed this happens a lot when I do searches at various websites. Is it something in my security settings making this happen? It's annoying as hell. Anyone know how to get rid of it?

It's basically when I try to go back with my mouse button after a search I get this stupid error page saying "About working offline" and then "Warning: Page has Expired."

Any tips to get rid of this is appreciated.

Sorry, Internet Explorer 6.0.

It could very well be the sites themselves telling your browser not to cache them. Websites can control whether or not your browser caches the page, and when the page expires using http headers. Most browsers respect what the server tells them, so if a dynamic site is setting a negative or very short expiration time, ie will do as it says and not show you the page after that time.

When I search AT forums, click on a post from the results, then click BACK, I get the same message.
I click RETRY and my original results page shows up.

Its odd becasue the message states it can't do it, but simply retrying allows it to happen

It means you were sending data. i.e. posting to the forum. It does not want to resend the it causing DPs

As amdfanboy said. There are two (well, three, but only two are used) HTTP methods: GET and POST. Get simply retrieves a web page, whereas POST sends data to the webserver. If you decide to go Back, the web browser will have to resend whatever POST data requested the previous page. If that POST data is submitting a store order confirmation, it may result in a duplicate order and a duplicate charge. This is why the browser would rather ask you whether it's okay to resend POST data in order to retrieve the previous webpage.

In most cases, it means resubmitting the search query that resulted in the previous page.
