THanks for the link, MrChad. Unfortunately, I do have the latest version and the setting for "Do Not Save Encrypted Pages" is DISabled.
 
Uhm, that message is there for a good reason, it's a designed part of http. The web server you got the page from doesn't want you to cache the page for too long or it will become innaccurate. The reason you have to hit the button is that the simple url is not enough to properly retrieve the page from the server again. That page was reached by submission of some kind of form and in order to get the same (but updated) page back you must submit the form again. This is not a hassle, it is very convenient that IE saves the form data for you so that you don't have to try to figure out for yourself how you got exactly where you are.

This is not a problem or a bug as the ms page says, nor does it have anything to do with asp. Figures that ms would try to pass that off as a feature of their language.
