I just wanted to write this for those people doing a search later on. I discovered with my Abit AT8 32X that the voltage for the 12V rails in software like Everest Home Edition are incorrect. For whatever reason, they're correct only when you use the uGuru utility.

I read Abit decided to go with proprietary sensors and I have no idea why.

You may as well replace "Abit" with "all" in your title. Motherboard-provided voltage readings are frequently wildly inaccurate.

How true. When I built my brothers computer Everest reports my brothers 12V rail to be 2 V and the 5V rail to be 1V...somehow I don't think his computer would be running if that were true

I have two Abits and a Biostar and all of them are pretty off the wall. Not exactly an issue to worry about.
