Warning message after replacing video card

Hi, I currently replaced my integrated X200 with a eVGA 6600GT video card. So I went into BIOS and made sure that the PCI E is the card that will be recognized. After rebooting the computer I get this warning message. Text

Is this anything to be concerned about, I dont think its anytihng serious but I just want to make sure.

I also went back into the BIOS and switched it to recognize the onboard X200 video card and rebooted the comp and for some odd reason when I go into th edisplay properities it says that this x200 card cannot be recognized because it was used with a previous version of windows. Why would that be? Is it because I still have the 6600GT installed? Thanks for any info, I really appreciate it!

its just trying to initialize the ATI panel, go to add remove programs and uninstall the ATI drivers and control panel, then it will go away....

Sounds as if the X200 had some other software installed to help run it. Check your add/remove programs list and see if there is something still installed for the X200. I would start there first as, that's what it sounds like to me.

There is a program called "ATi control panel" but if I remove this program does that mean I can no longer use the x200 card?

Why would you want to use the x200 if you just put in the 6600gt? You probably have a drivers cd that came with the computer if you ever take out the 6600gt, just reinstall the drivers for the x200.

I know I probably wil never use the x200 again but you never know what can happen. Anway this computer that I just bought is from HP and did not come with any driver cd's so what should I do? Also its a windows media center.

it should have come with a restoration cd set....the drivers will be on that set...uninstall it and forget about it....if you decide to sell it and keep the 6600, then refomat it with the restoration cd set and be done.
