WARNING! KT7 and Golden Orb SocketA/462 HO HS/Fan

Some resellers are sending this heatsink and fan *cough*tcwo.com*cough* with the t-birds and it does NOT fit on the KT7. bent a couple capacitors and chewed up the platic on the outside of them trying to get it in. Hope I didn't screw up my board. Probably pretty stupid of me to get a HS/Fan that wasn't on amd's recommended list. =/

This just happened to me too yesterday. Got my GORB on my KT7-RAID
and the fins on the bottom edge hit the capacitor.. damn

I had to grind away a bit of the corner of the heatsink to make it fit, and it still hits the capacitors when i install it

ahh well, it works, just dont try this at home
