Not a hot deal, but this pertains to a couple hot deals posted last night with the supposed $30 stackable. Placed my order last night with two $30 coupons. Not trusting Staples, I went to look at my order status. Surprise surprise. One of the coupons has now disappeared. I'm going to cancel my order. I would not try this combination. You may get lucky, but I doubt it'll work.

---

You are right. This is not a Hot Deal. Please post this in the Moderator sponsored ~~~~ Brag & Moan ~~~~ thread.

Please do not bother posting how you cannot stack coupons that Staples does not intend to stack. That is not even worth moaning about.

Thank you,

Take a screenshot of your card and make printouts of the order acceptance page. If Staples removes the coupon and charges you the full amount, you can dispute it with your CC company. Charging you more than you agreed to is illegal.

exactly, thats the major reason for having credit..
there is only one problem by clicking that submit button on your order you agree to any terms, in the license agreement of purchasing products from them, and im sure that is stated. so your credit company may save you once.. if your lucky, but its the same as signing a contract, you place the order, you agree to their terms. However the stating receipt says they give you that at that price, which is also the same as a contract without the terms stated on it, dunno what might happen, im no lawyer, someone should seek some legal advise on this and find out once and for all

Well, they have a policy against using more than one coupon and it says so right on the page where you center coupon codes. Stupid is as stupid does.

It's reassuring to see top legal minds discussing this critical issue. Frankly, I'm surprised nobody has suggested suing those cheating Staples bastards. How dare they enfore their policy!

this coupon poncekim is referring to is for a specific item so people starting using it for a different item thus making it stackable. the coupon shows up but it doesnt process i think.
