Warning: FBI issues warning to public of another terror attack

These warnings are totally meaningless now. We've had dozens of them and none have panned out. Sure this one could, but basically they are meaningless. I'm sure that the majority of people who hear them go "oh well that sucks I Hope it doesn't happen" and carry on with their lives.

I don't think anything they do or say is going to do any good anyway. If the terrorists want to attack they will attack.

that's what i was thinking.

although i think that this is the government's way of saying they were on top of things, if something does happen.

Man, I sure am glad everyone bitched about 9-11 and how it was the government's fault. Now, they issue statements everyday to cover their asses. And the homeland security position...all that money just to make a color chart that no one gives one rats ass about. It's pathetic.

With any kind of luck if they attack, they'll die in the attack. I figure if a couple of extremists take out some Americans and kill themselves in the process, there are a lot more of us than them. Terrorist + Attack usually = DEAD Terrorist. Eventually they'll kill themselves out or the military will.

The FBI just covers their own ass by doing this because that way they can't be slammed for not warning the public when it does happen.

I sure wouldn't mind helping them speed up that process (killing themselves) a bit!
