In the new ct mag its explained that the spacer dangerous and decreasing the proformance of your hs!
Its very easy to destroy your CPU with a spacer
The possible decreasing of your cpu temp is faked my the mb temp probe
!!!

that's true, i read that article, too.
copperspacers are a complete waste of money anyway.

well, perhaps it's dangerous, but not a waste of money as long as it prevents you from crushing your valuable proc. with hsf (not easy, but possible and frustrating)

Its like a training bra. Its okay for new people, but if you have done it 10 or more times, buy yourself a 36B and do it without the spacer.

Maybe if they design spacers with an open end so we can remove them after installation.
