vbboy are you saying that 7.61 isnt high enough

Why did you order, cancel, then order and cancel again? If you're not sure that you want an item you shouldn't keep ordering and cancelling, it costs them money.

I ordered from them like 5 years ago (my computer I built before college). Everything arrived on time and as it should have. Funny name though...one of my friends made fun of me for ordering from a company called Bunta.

There was an article of those guys in the paper... supposedly one of the first successful computer related retailers like newegg and mwave... which is also in the same area. Dunno why you would cancel an order twice though...

Like everyone else says, STOP TEASING THE VENDOR! It's not nice to keep dangling an order string in front of their face and then snatching it way. Let them catch the order and play with it! Meow!

I dealt with them for several months with no problems up until a couple years ago. Bought a Slot-A Athlon from them, they charged my card and I got the processor....no problem. Almost a year later, I start getting messages on my machine from some woman at Bunta desperate to talk to me about something to do with their accounting records...blah, blah, blah. She finally gets a hold of me and tells me they made a mistake and didn't charge me enough for the processor I bought (keep in mind this was about 10-11 months previous to this call) and they want me to pay the rest. I tell her "No way". She responds by telling me they will contact a collection agency. I told her "Whatever....good luck and goodbye". I immediately filed a complaint with the BBB and they filed it "as-is" because Bunta refused to dispute or challenge my complaint.

I also looked up their BBB report which wasn't too great to begin with.

Deleted their URL from my bookmarks and never heard from them again.....

Well i guess i should of told a whole story, well what happened is i ordered the first time and they said my address was incorrect, so i told em to cancel it and they said they did, so i just ordered the same thing with the correct address, then i decided that i didn't want to mess with them anymore since i can't get through on their phones. So i canceled the 2nd one about 4 hours afterwards and i went teh site and it said i have no buying history or anything. I talked to my bank and the bank said they billed the card for like 640 bucks.

More likely they pre-authorized it for 640. Even when your address shows up as wrong, it will still pre-auth your card. It should come off in 2-3 days.

Used to order everything from Bunta until Newegg came along. Never had a problem, maybe because I checked to make sure my information was correct and I was sure I wanted to buy something before I clicked the "are you sure" button...

I think perhaps you should make up your mind if you want the part before ordering it in the first place eh?? ;)

I believe legally they are responsible for the 'loss', not you the customer.

I used to use Bunta as my main source for computer parts. I never had a problem with them. I thought they had a very good return policy. The only problem is they kill you with shipping.
