That sound stupid.

One of advantages of living in EU is that when I need RMA all I need to do is to send it for RMA to shop where I bought it and they have 30 days to take care of entire RMA - if they dont finish RMA in 30 days I get my money back.

great idea, komrade! Let's hire so many bureaucrats that they actually spend time crafting rules for rma's!!

I've owned quite a few video cards...um:
geforce 2 gts
geformce 4 ti 4200
radeon 9800 pro 128 mb
6600gt
7600gt
x1950xt 256
3870
4850
gtx 260
7300gt fanless
9600 gso

only card that "failed" was 6600gt. fan went out on it, I bought a new fan on newegg, problem solved.

btw, for all of the horror rma stories out there, I have one bit of advice: when possible and/or price is relatively close, just buy from newegg. they get shit done, and you aren't at the mercy of howard's 3 day long meeting or whtaever.

April 6, 2010: I called Calvin last Friday because after waiting a week I still had not received my check, even though they told me it would be send out by the end of the week two weeks prior. Calvin checked and they had still not sent out the check. (Three weeks after they told me they would send it out) Calvin told me he would have them send it out immediately. Well, I finally received my check yesterday after a long ordeal. Let's just hope the check doesn't bounce when I try to deposit it. I'm done with MSI crap.

Hi,

Welcome to AnandTech Forums. :)

In case you didn't notice, the last post before yours was almost five years ago.

Since you asked about MSI's RMA center in the City of Industry, like me, you may live in Southern California. FWIW, I had excellent responses from MSI the two times I've had to deal with them regarding RMA issues.

If you encounter any problems in the normal online RMA process, or you have any questions or are concerned, I suggest phoning them.

Technical Support & RMA: (626) 581-1551

Although it may take some time on hold, if you can reach a live human being, they may be able to walk you through the process.

Good luck. :)
